Headlands Dunes. Today we hiked 6 miles, from Headlands Beach to Mentor Marsh. This wide expanse of sand dunes is quite rare along Ohio's Lake Erie shoreline. Fairport Harbor Lighthouse is in the distance.

The Fairport Harbor Lighthouse is my favorite on Lake Erie.
I've been to this park a few times and once took a whole bunch of (film) shots around that lighthouse. Now I have to go did them out. Wonder where they are? I remember the horn going off and causing me to jump out of my shoes!
