I can't believe that I've been driving all over creation looking for farm animals to photograph, and then suddenly find a little barnyard within walking distance of home, with quite a variety of animals -- cow, sheep, goats, chickens, and this very fine turkey!

Always look in your backyard, there is always something there to find!
I have a local information booklet, which I'm still wading through. Last week I visited a local nature reserve to see some Kingfishers. I didn't see any, but that’s probably because I took the kids and they were noisy.
