If you have a couple minutes and want to make the day for 10 fourth-graders, have a listen to their recording of The Stonecutter, an adaptation of a Japanese folktale. They narrate this touching tale about a Japanese Stonecutter who seems to always want to be somebody else. There's music, sound effects, and even body percussion! Just go to the Eagle Eyes website, click on "Our Podcast" through to the Eagle Eyes Podcast, Feb. 20th episode. The Download Episode link (The Stonecutter.mp3) is right under the title. If you feel so inclined, feel free to leave the kids a message about what you thought. The "Add a comment" link is at the bottom of the episode. Thanks! Judy.
