Liberty Park, Twinsburg, Ohio, Along the Buttonbush Trail

Lichens and moss abound in Liberty Park, which has two buttonbush swamps.

Mossy log

Today's dense fog began to lift just as I arrived around 11am.

Ugh! The trails were very muddy, and I slipped and got muddy knees!

The boardwalks were even more slippery with a thin film of wet moss and assorted wet leaves on them.  You don't want to slip there, as the mud and standing water on either side were several inches deep!

The sun trying to burn through the lifting fog.

A blind of some sort, though how one enters it, I don't know!

Arrowhead Orchard, Paris, OH

Stopped at Arrowhead Orchard on the way home today.  Got honeycrisp apples, homemade apple dumplings, and peanut brittle!  I love that place!
