It sure looks like you got up close and personal with this alpaca!

What joke did you tell it to get such a twinkle in its eye :)

Ok, ok, here's the joke I was telling her: There was this truck driver who had to deliver fifteen alpacas to the state zoo. As he was driving his truck through the desert, the truck broke down. After waiting by the side of the road for about three hours he waved another truck down and offered the driver $5,000 to take the alpacas to the zoo for him. The next day the first truck driver arrives in town and sees the second truck driver crossing the road with the alpacas walking single file behind him. The first truck driver jumps out of his truck and says, "What's going on? I gave you $5,000 to take these alpacas to the zoo!" The second truck driver replies, "I did take them to the zoo. And I had a ton of money left over so now we're going to see a movie."

It looks like this alpaca has a lion's mane except the curls up top make it look kind of silly.

lol - these animals always give me the creeps (slightly). i think it's because they're so strange to me.

Silly is a good word for the hairdo! I really like animals and I think I anthropomorphize them a lot -- like I tend to think I know what our cat is "thinking" or that our neighbor's dog is "glad" to see me. But these alpacas were a bit hard to relate to -- probably because I am so unfamiliar with them. They seemed pretty skittish, and made me feel a little uneasy around them too.
