Criosdan, I photographed a sunflower seed on macro and then, using PhotoImpact, I increased the saturation to bring out color. I then carefully selected around the edges of a sunflower in one of my photos (using a Bezier selection tool) and then resized it and pasted it as an object on top of the seed image. I changed the transparency to about 50% so you could see the seed through the petals. Transparency is something that I would like to explore a bit more.
