The flowers of milkweed can be seen at here. And as far as uses of milkweed, the sap (milky) is supposedly good for curing warts, and the fluff was once used to insulate Indian mocassins and WWII military life jackets. Milkweed leaves can also tell you if you have an ozone problem in your area -- the top of the leaves will have black spots between the ribs/veins if they have ozone damage.
I've never heard of milkweed before. What are the flowers liek before this seed stage?
