Spring Robin

The American Robin is quite different (larger, plumper) than the UK robin, but both are a harbinger of spring. Posted by Picasa

Great shot, the plump red robin and the buds on the tree!

We have them all year around here, so they only tell you where the bugs and worms are. :) Great picture!

Oh, how I love to hear the robin's song! I wish I could figure out how to get them to hang out by my house more often to sign. I saw a few while in Hawaii and they're fatter than any I've ever seen here. It must be an easier life in Hawaii. I think we usually see them around May.

Brilliant splash of colour against the grey sky - like a light at the end of the tunnel.

I went out looking for some Robins recently, but I didn't see any - just a kingfisher, a rare sight indeed. Like the picture. Nice one.
